Writing 3-2: Halloween

1. Read the following story:

I was walking around getting candy on Halloween with my best friends. Our bags were full of candy, and it was getting late, so my friends wanted to go home. I wanted a few more chocolate bars so I turned to my friends and said, “Let’s go to a few more houses and then go home.”

They were worried because they thought it was already too late. “Let’s go home now,” they said to me. I told them not to worry because we could save some time going through the old forest.

So after a few more houses, I took my friends to the forest. We walked about 20 minutes, and then, suddenly, I felt very strange.

I couldn’t remember the way! It was dark and cloudy. We were lost. And to make matters worse, it started to rain. And then, it started to rain really hard.

We walked around in the rain for over two hours. We were very wet and very cold. And then, at about midnight, I saw an old house on a hill.

“I think we’ll have to spend the night in that old house and wait till morning,” I said.

My friends didn’t think it was a good idea, but they were cold and wet, so they agreed. We walked up the old stairs to the front door. The door opened and we went inside, sat down, and started to eat a chocolate bar, when . . .

2. Finish the story

…the light started to blink and after turned off. My friends screamed so loud that I can’t even hear my own thoughts. In that minute my thoughts was about that it is a joke from one of my friends, but then I understood that everybody was running and screaming next to me. So I decided to take this situation in my own hands and to go to search the light. As soon as I went into another room I stopped hear the voices of my friends , “Someone killed them”, was my first thought and I was right… I didn’t find any light, so I decided back into room with my dead friends. I was seating in the corner of dark room and thought about how hungry I

It didn't bother me much until after having driven for 10 minutes the same car was trailing me! I realized the driver was following…
