Cruise To The Bahamas Research Paper
Last summer I went on a cruise to the Bahamas and this has been a very good memory that will stick in my mind for as long as I live. I had such a great time and I wish I can go back again and have an adventure of a lifetime and make more memories with my family and friends.
We did a lot of different activities while we were there and not much time. I swam in the ocean and the water was so cool and refreshed I felt like I was in a clean pool. It was very hot there and always in the day because the sun. The sun beating down on me and once my body hit the refreshed water I loved the feeling as I came up from the water.
When I go on the cruise I really like all the food and especially if it is free. I would eat all day if I could. Ice cream cones

There are several small holes drilled around the shell and one in the center. The holes are to release air that might get caught under the shell. A string was attached into the center hole that winds down into the belly of the turtle and around a spool. The spool is attached to both short ends of the turtle’s shell, with a rubber band that rolls the string around the spool. This is the string that is used like a yo-yo to walk the turtle. The only difference is that you don’t tie the string on your finger.…

I never realized how lucky I was to be granted such a stupendous life until I saw the poverty some people live in. Over the summer, I was fortunate enough to be able to take an ephemeral trip to Nassau, Bahamas. It was much different than I imagined it would be. I remember walking around and almost being frighten to leave my parents sides. There were natives on every street corner trying to con their way into you spending money on their fake product; there were people going through the trash looking for food; there were people sitting on the street with all their belongings tied up to their bicycle street. You could just tell this country was nowhere near as advanced as the United States. It was nothing like the pictures and it got me thinking of the gloomy lives these children will have to grow up in and all the opportunities that they don't have available here.…

The date was March 17, 1963 when 3 friends headed off to The Bahamas for a vacation. The 3 friends Michael, David, and John had been planning on this vacation for months now but events caused them to push the date back due to the Cuban Missile Crisis, but it was finally happening and they were ecstatic, they couldn't wait to get into the great weather. As they boarded the plane John was reluctant to get on board, still worrying about his and his friends safety being that close to such a dangerous place. He knew he was just being paranoid but with major threats he felt uneasy. He heard Michael call to him from ahead “Are you coming or what?” John laughed and got on board. Returning as a teenager never seemed like a lame family holiday. With all the returning friends I had made in years previous, the activities and fun seemed endless. Tubing became a sport to us. Lounging in the sun never seemed so relaxing – with the waves licking the shores and the breeze coming off the bay. I learned how to wakeboard at Lumina; the staff spent countless years helping me stand up on the wake, and never grew tired of my mistakes. Movies in the TV room, playing cards on the deck, eating junk food in the beautifully preserved cabins. All great memories.…

The last week of July finally arrived, and I remember crying as I watched my friends board the ship. I was devastated as I watched them have fun in the Bahamas, while I was stuck outside in the hot sun practicing all day. Looking back on it now, I wish I had gone. I missed out on many things such as swimming with dolphins and snorkeling. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I may never have again.…

Over Spring Break I left the country, I went to Los Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In Mexico everyday we went to the pool. When we were at the pool it felt amazing. The water was the perfect temperature. Sometimes before I got in the pool I would fall asleep laying out. The sun is a lot hotter there than it is here during the summer. Three nights to we went night swimming. When I went night swimming I spent most of my time in the hot tub. At night the hot tub was just the right temperature. If you got up around 7 a.m. you would most likely be able to see the beautiful whales jumping. While we were there we went out to dinner every night. On the first night we went to a place called Romeo and Juliet's. There pasta was amazing. It was soft, and buttery…

America is an everlasting memory, which impacts millions of lives of people and animals everyday. Ocean City is a memory that I go through for merely seven days once a year. I am filled with jubilation all throughout my vacation every year, so it is extremely difficult for me to pick just one memory to call my favorite. However, if I had to choose, I think parasailing with my father would be my first choice. I remember how nervous I was to be buckled into that safety harness, but…

The most rewarding experience I’ve had this summer would definitely be my vacation to Florida. For the first 2 days I got to spend time with my family, and my cousin Lauren, at St. Pete’s Beach. The ocean water was so warm and it felt amazing. We left St. Pete’s Beach with smiles on our faces bc we would soon be in Orlando, fl. Everyone in my family was excited to be on our way to Walt Disney World, where we would arrive the next day. The first day we were there we went to Magic kingdom, where Cinderella’s castle was, and we met 2 princesses there. In epcot we got to meet Mickey, Minnie, and Goofey. Haley’s face lit up when she saw mickey and Minnie. In epcot there was a ride called test track. We all got to design our own cars. My sister Chloe’s…

Several years ago, I took a cruise trip with a close friend to the Bahamas. It was very fascinating and a wonderful experience. During the day, the ocean/sea was as blue as the sky on a nice day. As I looked down into the ocean I saw my reflection as if I were looking upon a mirror. I find that when looking upon the ocean and watching the waves interact with one another, it's a reminder of how the human body functions on a daily basis. The ocean is constantly moving and changing just like the human body.…
