Crocs

Intended to just be spa shoes, Crocs first made an appearance in 2002 at a Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. Crocs, Inc. is a U.S. based shoe designer, manufacturer, and retailer that launched its business in 2002 selling rubber clogs with straps in a variety of solid and bright colors. This footwear is universally disgraced by the general public, but Crocs play a significant role in my life. They provide extreme comfortableness which helps me on the days I stand for extended periods of time. They show that I am not ashamed of wearing something others do not find trendy. Their design is simple and flawless and they provide me with a plethora of hilarious memories. The main reason I wear Crocs is because of their comfort and design. Crocs are extremely light and made completely of bacteria resistant rubber. I can never keep my other shoes clean, but Crocs are the easiest footwear to clean because all you need is water for the dirt and bleach for bacteria. Not only do the holes in the sides and top help keep my feet cool and odor-free, but also allow water and wind to pass through effortlessly. I really enjoy the simple and flawless design that Crocs have to offer me.
The second reason I choose to wear Crocs is because they are universally disgraced. People like to associate Crocs with being unfashionable or weird, but besides from being not the most stylish or popular footwear, I still find them remarkable. I am the kind of person that likes to prove people wrong and I find wearing Crocs are one of the best ways to stick it to the “man”. I always get jokes and memes about my Crocs, but it will not change the fact that many other people also wear them. People have no idea that surgeons, chefs, and nurses wear them because they are on their feet all day and need comfort.
