When I think about the skills of critical and creative thinking I feel very strongly that it is a crucial skill in the Army and needed in both academic and tactical environments. This skill is learned through application and like most, requires practice to maintain and become better at creative and critical thinking. The base of creative and critical thinking requires the understanding of how we approach problems as an individual and the elements of intellectual standards to fully ensure we are communicating our thoughts and ideas with as much information we can gather on a problem set.
