Throughout all my research I had been studying a lot of topic such as, illegal firearms, the rise in crime, gun control, homicides, etc. But in specific on this paper I’ll be discussing the best way to combat or prevent the rise in crime and the use of illegal firearms. Even though, the flood of illegal handguns on the city 's streets is taking a disturbing toll, the number of murders and shootings has risen significantly this year. As statistic show that190 people have been killed this year, compared with 172 during the same period last year.
The best way to combat the rise on crime is by starting with ourselves this means being examples for other, letting young children to look at us as a role model in society and creating more safety in our neighborhood as there kid that may learn from us. In contrast, creating techniques to know your neighbors and communicate with them on a regular basis. Become acquainted with your new neighbors if you just moved into a new neighborhood. Introduce yourself and familiarize yourself with each other 's family members, cars and work and vacation schedules so you can become more aware of any suspicious behavior. Set up a neighborhood watch program in collaboration with your local police department. Make sure your streets and homes are well lit to deter any potential criminals. Pay attention to any suspicious behavior in the neighborhood or any yelling or screaming, and don 't be afraid to report it to other neighbors or to your local law enforcement officers. As a matter of fact, some neighbors tends to keep any suspicious activity to themselves and not being aware of the consequences of theirs silence, also Keep your house, garage and vehicles secure at all times. Make sure that your doors and windows are locked when you are away. Have a neighbor gather your mail and newspapers if you are away for an extended period. These are some ways that we all can combat the rise in crime by helping each other we all makes a better community.
By reading and discussing the homicides that have been occurring and get the illegal guns off the street the United States Supreme Court decided on June 28, 2010, that the Second Amendment 's right to bear arms is an individual right, the debate rages on how best to reduce gun violence. Advocates of more stringent gun control maintain that banning more of the weapons and making it harder for individuals to obtain guns are the keys to reducing violence. I personally believe that for a person to obtain a gun that should be a process to get it because we never know what is the reason for that particular person want to buy a gun, nonetheless may also protect us but in most case can harm other even though its wasn’t instinctually, so what I really stated is that there should be a strict reason for a person to obtain a gun in the street. Even though, many states impose a mandatory waiting period of several days between the times someone purchases a handgun and when he can actually take possession of it. Advocates of such laws say this allows a time period if someone wants to buy a gun out of anger, for example. They also point to credible studies that show an increased incidence of suicide among people shortly after purchase of a handgun. These critics argue that the waiting period most imperils women and others who are being stalked by another or have been a victim of any crime. As a matter of fact, I believe there should be a reform to gun control because many people takes it as a joke and it shouldn’t be like that a gun a weapon that can cause a human death in a minute, so without any doubts as a member of our community we should definitely have a reform about gun control and these shall go as example for our children in the future because all human being should think twice before committing a crime with a gun. Gun should be used by a professional expert to protect us from any bad circumstance. For example, when I was 11 years old I saw one of my mother’s friend who kill herself by mistake, because of the same she didn’t have the knowledge to manage a gun, she though the gun didn’t have any bullets and she grab it and point it to her forehead she shot herself not instinctually, but that causes her death.
If a relative of mine was killed by an illegal gun, god forbid as an innocent party my reaction would explode because I’m the type of person I can take unfair stuff , an innocent person that was not even knowledgeable about gun or any crimes and is killed those are the simple thing that can get me furious with those who thinks they got power because they got a gun , not knowing that they just causing angriness to others, and off course I would hope that someone who saw the crime comes forward and betray those who commit the homicides of an innocent person. Also, I believe those who want to carry a gun just in case are not a compatible person to live around because many of them would use it for any little thing just to revenge from others. If I was a related of someone who was innocent and was killed I would love to give death penalty to the person in charge of the handgun who actually kill the innocent person, nothing pays off a death of a family member nothing. But these are the reason we have justice for all so we won’t dirty or heart and hand with a nonsenses human being, justice will give they what they deserve. Finally, these are some tips to those who pretend to have a gun and not do things wrong with it, hold you to a higher standard while carrying. Regardless of your state 's specific laws, carrying a firearm on your person places you at greater legal risk than when you are not carrying. Your state of mind should be that using, or even drawing your weapon, is a last resort. You must be in charge of your emotions, and never allow a heated exchange to cause you to draw your weapon. Consciously avoid areas and situations which you perceive to be dangerous, just as you would when you are not carrying. Keep in mind that even if you are defending your life, if an innocent bystander is hurt or killed by your stray shot, you may be liable. Also use extreme discretion in using your weapon to protect others, especially those whom you do not know personally. A conflict between two strangers can easily appear to be more serious than it is. Remember that you are under no obligation to defend others just because you are carrying a gun.

NO CRIME NO ILLEGAL GUN LETS ALL LIVE IN A WORLD OF PEACE.

Prevention is key in lowering and then ending property crime. Having a strong police presence and visibility is key in stopping property crime before it occurs. The second recommendation that I have for a strategic plan to lower and ultimately end property crime is to initiate more neighborhood watch programs in conjunction with community policing. In each of these steps, the local police would be the main individuals responsible for achieving these steps. The neighborhood watch programs and the community policing would begin in larger cities first and then continue to smaller cities. Local authorities will help to organize and educate the residents involved in the neighborhood watch programs and the community policing programs.…

Every day, dozens or even hundreds of people find themselves victims of gun violence. 30,000 people on average are killed each year by firearms while 64% of all firearm deaths are suicides, and firearms are the third-leading cause of injury-related deaths nationwide. ("Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence," May 11, 2015). With those statistics, it would make sense why people think that gun control is the answer, and some regulations like background checks and increased penalties for those convicted of using guns in crimes are needed.…

Although guns provide a good way to protect us, they also offer an effective method to kill others. Perhaps many people may argue that gun is just one of the numerous tools killers use, they believe that gun control can’t eliminate murder. However, “The biggest problem with firearms is they kill quickly and they kill efficiently. The problem there is the instant impulse leads to death” (Schoener). Even though the government set up several restrictions for owning guns, killers can easily get them. What is worse, with the gun culture, people are more likely to release their anger by shooting. These entire make the gun law the most dangerous law we’ve ever…

Each day in the US, more than three thousand gun related crimes take place. These include murder, robbery, rape, and other kinds of assault. This country needs to make better gun laws to protect everyone from crime. The way things are today with each state making its own gun laws. In some states, for example, it is legal for almost anyone to buy a gun. The result of this mishap of laws is that people who live stricter states can take advantage of the weaker laws in other…

There are several strategies that can dramatically reduce cases of gun violence. First, there are no reasons for citizens to purchase any type of semi-automatic or assault weapons. Instead, they should only be able to purchase handguns for protection purposes. Allowing citizens to purchase assault weapons only translates into providing support for people that have wrong intentions. Because these weapons are easily available, people who intend to cause harm can obtain one and carry out their plan. This is why it is very crucial to ban citizens from purchasing weapons that can inflict substantial damage. Although handguns can also cause great damage, they are less…

Gun violence has impacted so many communities across the country. Gun violence is one of the top ten causes of death in the United States. During the past decade in America more than 100,000 people have been killed due to gun violence. Close to half a million more people have fallen victim to assaults, robberies, mass shootings and other crimes that involved a gun. These tragedies were committed by criminals who should’ve never had access to a gun in the first place. In order to reduce gun violence we need to start by reforming legislation, improving the mental and physical health of citizens in need, efficient and effective background checks including how and what is reported, keeping track of what guns are sold, lost, or stolen and smart and effective enforcement of our gun laws.…

In the mid-2000s crime rates began declining fast. Despite this trend, 70% of Americans still wrongly believed that crime rates are on the rise (Frum). The criminal world will always be something for citizens to worry about. According to William Vizzard, evidence supports the conclusion that criminals prohibited from guns acquire them most often from acquaintances or through illegal markets (Vizzard 894). When crime looks like it is at an all-time high, it will seem that law enforcement is slowly becoming more ineffective. With the thought of police protection spread thin, Americans will worry that police will begin showing up at the crime scene, too late to be of any help. This is what will cause citizens to take matters into their own hands and why they feel safer with guns readily available to them for their own defense.…

Gun Control is one of the most controversial issues in the world today. Although gun control has always been a sensitive topic, the recent uprisings in gun related crimes have made it a nearly impossible issue for citizens to agree on. Over the past decade, crimes involving the use of firearms have been very erratic. Only recently have the crimes become more severe and consistent. Guns instill fear in people everywhere because of how powerful they can truly be. Whether a gun is used to take down a criminal on the loose, or to kill an ex-boyfriend, they can cause great harm to many with just the pull of a trigger. Safety, self-defense, and fear are the main reasons that gun control is still being disputed today.…

    Gun Ban Law

There is a debated topic in USA recently, especially after the terrible armed attack to a school in December 2012. The topic is whether having gun should be completely banned or not. In USA, acquiring a gun is so simple that anyone wanting to have a gun can get it within one or two days. Add to the easiness of acquiring a gun in legal ways, there are easier ways to get a gun which are called private-party sales and, of course, black market. A great number of the crimes include handgun, and these crimes are the serious problems of America right now. Although there is such a big problem, people who live in this problem cannot arrange settlement to what should be done about the problem. Some gun control supporter claim that banning all the guns would be enough to stop criminals committing crime with guns; yet, banning handguns or guns in general is not enough to prevent criminals from using guns; so, there is no use banning using of guns.…
