Creative Writing: The Arthur And Queenie Volupid Incident

I arrived at the home of Arthur and Queenie Volupids at 1:15am on October 13th 1982. I found Arthur lying dead at the bottom of the staircase with his right foot on the third step. His clothes were neat and his glass was still in his hand. The wall’s and the carpet around him and the stairs were undisturbed. (objective) I noticed that if Arthur was coming down the stairs for another drink like Queenie had said that his glass would be in his right hand. The reason I think this is because if you're drunk you would automatically grab the railing with your left hand. Queenie stated that he had tripped and fell down the stairs, he would have landed on his face and his clothes would have been scuffed up. While Arthur was falling down the
She stated that she had found him at the bottom of the stairs dead when she came home. She had ten minutes to call the police or go to the neighbors before her friends came over. Queenie had plenty of time to calm down and call the police about the incident. I suspect that Queenie waited for her friends so that she would have back up in court.
Neighbors said that Queenie sped off after an argument with her husband, to the celebration at their country club. My opinion on this whole mystery is that Queenie had killed her husband before she left for the country club. She followed him up the stairs and hit him on the head with the frying pan. She then used the frying pan to cook snacks which would also get rid of the DNA. She then went to the country club to use her friends as a cover up when she got home. (subjective)
When her friends arrived at her home, she acted all surprised about the incident making them think that it was all an accident. Queenie was hoping that if her friends believed that it was an accident that they could help her in court. She had not thought out her plan to thoroughly. Even though Queenie had her friend's help she was found guilty for the murder of her husband Arthur
