I am writing to express my interest in the Campaigns Volunteer position in your agency.
I have gained working experience in different sectors which I think has provided me a chance to understand how things happen in different contexts. From my experience of being involved in various jobs you can see that I am equally comfortable working independently to meet the organisation’s goal, as well as collaboratively as a part of team.
During my career as a teacher I have developed my skills of analysing things and reaching a convincing conclusion. I did learn to maintain a balance in the workloads by prioritising things. I found myself being able to socialise more after facilitating students’ participation in different social activities.
Working as a Warehouse Assistant, I learnt to value the team effort to achieve a target. I understood the essence of effective communication, respect and team-motivation.
As a freelance Interpreter I have been better able to organise myself. Recording the clients’ details in my personal diary, recording the purpose of the meeting, preparing the way to present myself to the clients, ensuring that the clients fully understand each other, reviewing the day’s task, preparing the invoice and sending it for procession etc. has been my routine task. I have dealt with different clients from diverse backgrounds in various situations. It has given me wider experience of understanding people from their point of view. Thus I have been able to establish excellent relations with the clients I have met and dealt with.
