Court Tour Persuasive Essay
Dear Ms. Lee,
This is one of the very few field trips that I am really excited about! Lately, I have been thinking about being a lawyer when I grow up. I am not that sure if being a lawyer is something that I really want to do, but this trip will help know a little bit more and will help me experience how it will be like. I think that this would be a great experience for me. I would love to see an actual court case in action. I would be able to see a plaintiff attorney and defendant attorney doing their job in a real trial. I really like to argue and defend by end of the case that’s why I think being a lawyer is something that I want to be!
During this experience I will be able to learn many different things that I can’t really learn in class. For example, I can see how a real-life trial will be like. I an also learn the way the lawyers talk, act, and defend their side. I also will be able to learn how a real judge deals with court cases. I will also be able to learn all the problems (if any) in a court trial that I can’t really learn in school. In school we talked about criminal and civil cases. In a real trial I can learn different examples of criminal and civil (mostly civil case) cases. I also would love to see how the lawyers defend an attack and attack the other side. We also probably be able to learn how lawyers present the evidence against the opposing side. Lastly, I will be able to learn how a judge stops a lawyer-to-lawyer dispute/argument.
I think that I should go on this field trip because I am a straight A student. I always do my homework and get good grades ever quarter. I am also a very well behaved student in class and in previous field trips. I will not disturb or talk during the trial. As you already know, I am naturally a quiet person! I really, really hope that you will pick me to go on the field trip! I am already very, very excited about this trip!!!! Chose wisely!
