Courage Definition Essay

Courage The definition of courage is simple but it has a wide range of meanings. The meanings of courage range from doing the impossible of running into a burning building with no training and pulling out survivors to the smaller things of standing in front of a class to make a speech. I think it means doing anything that you are not doing on a regular basis it takes courage to do that task. The actual definition of courage is the ability to do something that you know is difficult or dangerous. People can say all day that in a certain situation that they will act a certain way, but until they are thrown into that said situation they have no idea what
Some instances of daily courage is when someone makes a speech in a class when they are nervous, volunteering for a soup kitchen or some type of volunteer work, and also helping a person out in need even it could hurt you physically or emotionally.(http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-courage.html) You also have the type of courage that nobody in their right minds believe that they would ever have. These are the ones that tread lightly between bravery and courage such as saving people from a burning building or car with no experience at all they just react in the situation, saving strangers from a robbery in a store without training and having no reason to protect anyone but yourself, and countless other reasons. Some people spend their whole lives looking for a reason to be courageous, but when it comes looking for them will they answer that knock or will they shy away from it and hide away into their safe lives and hope that it will go away and come again another
