5.2 Proposal to Expand Into Corporate Advertising Videos

VYP has been approached by Zubinos Coffee Shops Ltd to produce a corporate advertisement. This has highlighted the need and opportunity for VYP to venture into advertising which may improve costing and profit margins.
Social media advertising is a huge and growing business. Social advertising revenue is forecasted to increase by 194% to reach $15 billion by 2018. Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are the most popular social networks with search engine marketers. Reference. The second-most popular social media includes YouTube, blogging and LinkedIn. VYP should definitely look at producing advertisements and using relevant platforms such as social networks.

VYP could outsource some of the functionalities that you need to create corporate advertising; this could help them learn more about corporate advertising and using other media channels to showcase their work, while aiding to their reputation. What are the benefits for this recommendation?

Option 1: Expand into corporate advertising
VYP should select the first solution because this will give VYP full control of their expansion and the reputation that they build will be directly linked to them.
VYP should accept the proposal from Zubino and make an exceptional corporate advertisement that they can also use in their portfolio to gain more clients in this field, and to possibly secure a contract with Zubino to carry on building their reputation in the corporate advertising
