To understand conflict theory, one must first understand the social class define by Karl Marx. Society is dived into two class as seen by Marx, the bourgeois and the proletariat. The bourgeois are the wealth class who dominate society due to ownership of business. On the contrary, the proletariat who are consist of most of the population are worker.
