Romeo and Juliet
In this argumentive essay i will be telling you who i think is responsible for romeo and
Juliet's death. Here is what is think, i think that Lord Capulet is responsible for the two deaths.
Here are some of my reasons. First, He hates the Montagues, and evidence to back up my reason is, He said," My sword, I slay old Montague is come and flourishes his blade in spite of me. My second reason why i think he is responsible for Romeos and Juliets death is because, He is making Juliet marry paris. He told Juliet this," I tell thee what get thee O church a Thursday or never after look me in the face." My third reason for all of this is, if he did not make Juliet marry
Paris, then maybe she would still be alive. Something

Shakespeare once wrote in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!/Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary!/Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (V.III. 118-120). Directly after saying this, Romeo takes a poison and dies in hopes that he will spend the rest of eternity with the one he loves--Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide because Romeo thinks Juliet had died so he takes his life for her, then when Juliet wakes up she takes her own life because Romeo has died. How our two star-crossed lovers died was never in question, but who is most to blame for their deaths, is. Many say that there are other people in the play that are to blame for their deaths. Juliet faked her death using a plan given to her, that is why it is Friar Laurence’s fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed themselves, and he is the one to blame.…

I don't believe any person or occurrence is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. I think the combination of fate, history, circumstance, and personality were what killed them. In terms of history and circumstance we must remember that marriages were arranged back in the sixteenth century. This is a really important point to consider because the lovers rebel against their custom. In my opinion this is a major cause of their deaths.…

Death is and always will be a hard topic to talk about, especially when someone is to blame. In the play, Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, many characters could take responsibility for the deaths of the young lovers, but who is ultimately to blame? In my opinion, Romeo is the main cause of their deaths. He rushed into marriage without thinking ahead as to what they would do or tell their rival families. He then got himself banished from Verona for killing Tybalt, and lastly, instead of moving on from Juliet, he killed himself.…

Incidentally, it is also very much Romeo’s fault. Even though there were clearly visible signs of life coming from Juliet, Romeo being driven by despair thinking that Juliet is dead, he didn’t notice Juliet waking up and without hesitation, drank the poison, ending his life. When a loved one has died, we are all driven by emotion and can’t think straight. However, this wasn’t just clearly Romeo’s fault, it is due to him being a teenager, his brain not being fully developed. A teen uses a different part of the brain and ultimately has trouble recognizing these types of things, “Teens also differ from adults in their ability to read and understand emotions in the face of others Recent research shows that teens and adults actually use different regions of the brain in responding to certain tasks.” (Adolescent Brain Development 2), on the other hand, that if his brain reached full maturity he would've easily noticed signs of life coming back to Juliet. Without a doubt, Lord Capulet is the leading factor to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Lord Capulet’s behavior changes and poor choices lead to a unhappy Juliet and ultimately the deaths of the…

On the other hand, many would argue that the deaths of Romeo and Juliet were the responsibility of an individual character. This is not probable because the actions of every single character was what ultimately led to their deaths. There is no way to accurately pin the blame on one character by themselves. Because of the actions of all of the characters, Romeo and Juliet died. When reading through the play, the blame can eventually be traced back totally to the societal standards of the time rather than a single character or set of…

Everything that happens has a cause. This statement also applies to how every murder that happens has a murderer. Sometimes it is the ones you love most that hurts you the most. Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is an example of that and though there may be guilt coming from more than one person, only one of them plays the biggest part. With that said, the character that plays the biggest factor in Romeo and Juliet’s death is neither Paris nor Friar Lawrence, but instead is Lord Capulet because he cares about only his pride and pushed Juliet to her limits.…

The tragic death of Romeo and Juliet can be amounted to the many factors and influences, however, it can be condensed to the feuding households of Capulets and Montagues, the good-hearted Friar Lawrence and the actions of the ‘star-cross’d lovers’. The ill-fated death of the young lovers is a consequence of the unfortunate events and circumstances created by these characters mentioned.…
