E- Cigarettes vs. Menthol Tobacco Cigarettes This is a comparison and contrast essay about the E Cigarette vs. the Menthol tobacco cigarette and how the differences could suggest that, electronic cigarettes have better health advantages than smoking regular menthol cigarettes. The “e-cig” theoretically can be used as an aid to eventually quit smoking completely. Also a brief description will be given of what vices both are made of and the costs. An electronic cigarette is made for those who choose to smoke and are looking for a way to replace the regular tobacco cigarette. It helps to curb the urge or addiction to tobacco. It does not contain any of the toxins related to regular menthol cigarettes. Also it cost less, does not contribute to second hand smoke and can be used in most non- smoking establishments. Fewer puffs are required to get the same sensation of menthol tobacco products. Limited research has been made on …show more content…
Smokers inhale toxin to all the organs in the body an there is no safe amount to smoke, but if you quit the body begins to heal almost immediately and the nicotine leaves the body within days. The longer you go without smoking menthol tobacco cigarettes the withdrawal effect kicks in and the more difficult it can be to stay smoke free. With the long term medical cost of insurance and medical bills it only makes sense to find a way to quit smoking because there is no glamour or “coolness” in smoking. Tobacco causes almost 500,000 deaths in the United States each year. Babies are born with low weight and or birth defects. So if smoking an electronic cigarette is the way to better health then so be it, this coming from someone who is a smoker of menthol tobacco
