COMPANY PROFILE
The story of white coffee begin in 1958 there was Hainanese founder in Ipoh devised and ingenious style of roasting coffee beans much to the delight of local coffee drinks. OLDTOWN history can be traced back to the incorporation of white cafe in 1999. The co-founder and the executive director, Mr Goh Ching Mun and Mr Tan Say Yap formulated their own blend of 3-in-1 instant white coffee commenced manufacturing in 1999. With more than 10 years experience, our co-founder were instrumental in the growth of the OLDTOWN companies. The Group Managing Director, Mr Lee Siew Heng are support and role in implementing the company vision, strategic and development. In 1999, the 3-in-1 coffee mix under the ‘Old Town’ brand name for the retail sector. As at 31 October 2001, ‘Old Town’ 3-in-1 instant coffee mix was sold in approximately in 3998 retail outlet nationwide in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. East and west Malaysia through major hypermarkets and supermarket.
In 2000, White Cafe obtained Halal Certificate from Islamic Religious Department. In 2003, OLDTOWN successfully commerciallzed their own formulated blend of 3-in-1 instant milk tea for the retail market under the ‘OLDTOWN’ brand name. In view of expanding OLDTOWN manufacturing activities, they incorporated Gongga Food in 2003 and commenced operating in 2004 manufacturing roasted coffee powder for the food service sector using the Group’s propriety been roasting process. In addition, the food service sector, their roasted coffee powder is also marketed to their to the retail sector under the ‘NANYANG’ brand. In 2004, 3-in-1 instant coffee export to United State, Canada and United Kingdom. Subsequently in 2005, Taiwan and Indonesia market. In the same year, the group’s strategy of capitalizing and reinforcing ‘OLD TOWN WHITE COFFEE’ brand in the food service industry.     Kingfisher Airlines Ltd is India’s largest company for chartered aviation. They operate in commercial passenger airlines, private helicopter and chartered airplane divisions. They also have Air Deccan, India’s low cost carrier in their business units. It was started on June 15, 1995 with Deccan Aviation as name and as private limited company. In Mar 2005, Air Deccan, entered in a tie up agreement with Club HP. In Jun 27, 2005, Deccan Aviation ceased to be a subsidiary and consequently transferred 4% of their shares to Srilanka nationals. In Mar 2007, through a wholly owned susbsidiary,they forayed into Air Cargo Business. The company made Charter Services a separate entity and also transferred the Maintenance and Repair Facility into a separate entity. The Airline business of Kingfisher Airlines Ltd was finally merged with the company wef April 1, 2008 and its name was changed to Kingfisher Airlines Ltd.…
