communication plan
The advantage of developing a comprehensive communication plan helps make your communication as efficient and effective as possible. In addition, it gives you the ability to create consistency in your messages which is important in maintaining your company’s public image. Furthermore, all correspondence that goes out to the media outlets will contain the same message, and internal audiences of employees and managerial staff will also understand the information the company is releasing (Root, 2014). Nonetheless, developing a comprehensive communication plan prevents different people within the company opposing each other in the media, or creating confusion with the audience. In addition, a comprehensive communication plan ensures that they’re able to build an understanding and positive attitude in all the groups that influence their success (Linton, 2014). In addition, I have learned that a communication plan is very imperative when it comes to your reputation. As a future doctor, I believe that a communication plan will help me deliver various ways to all of the external and internal audiences if I need to get my message out. For example, if I need to bring awareness about a certain disease or epidemic issue, a comprehensive communication plan will help me create strong and positive reputation by allowing me to attract the best staff members, supporters, and volunteers.
