College Admissions Essay: The Journey That Changed My Life

I took their words to heart. I studied hard, performed extremely well and finished with a 3.5 GPA and in the top 25 percent of my high school class. I was the recipient of many scholarships and awards and was part of many extracurricular activities as well. I even made time for my new job at Walgreens as a beauty advisor. I was extremely delighted to see that my hard work had paid off and I was finally on my way to college. Being the first in my family to take on this venture, I was extremely excited but also very anxious. I was off on my own, or so it felt that way to me, and I created my first semester schedule, which turned out to be dreadful. Somehow I managed to register for an algebra class that I did not need and took an 8:00am course that, for a student straight out of high school, was a bad idea. I have always enjoyed my courses in science and working in a pharmacy so I decided, what better way to combine those two loves than to go to pharmacy school. My ultimate goal is to obtain my PharmD and move on from being a certified pharmacy technician to a Doctor of Pharmacy and I know Touro College of Pharmacy can help get me get
