My name is Kyle , and my life began in November of 1999. During that time, we were first moving to Sacramento from where I was originally from, San Ramon. Things were hectic and I wasn’t able to fully take in everything that was going on, being 5 years old. On our drive up to Sacramento, I distinctly remember our car getting hit face on by a book. The book was probably just thrown onto the freeway by a few delinquents, but it had symbolic meaning as I look back at it now. Coming to Sacramento brought me into the real world, and like the book that came sailing towards our car, it hit me head on. I was born on August 11, 1994 in San Ramon, California. I grew up in a secluded little neighborhood and spent

My name is Kyle and I was born on August 11, 1994 in San Ramon, California. I spent the first five years of my life in San Ramon, where I went to preschool and made many new friends. Then, in November of 1999, me and my family, which consists of 2 younger sisters, Karli and Haley, 1 younger brother, Jake (who hadn't been born yet), and my mom and dad. The reason for the move was to be closer to family, since many of our relatives lived in Sacramento, and since it would be the perfect time with me just starting kindergarten and all of my siblings still too young for preschool. After arriving in Sacramento, we spent the first few weeks staying at my grandparents house as we began looking for a house. My dad stayed back in San Ramon for a little bit as we sold the house and he still had his work in Walnut Creek, where he continues to work today as a doctor in internal medicine. My mom got a job at Bel Air as a pharmacist. After everything was figured out and we finally settled into our new house, I began my adventure into a new life. I started kindergarten at Matsuyama Elementary School and so began my elementary school life. I was extremely nervous about going to a new school where i new nobody and was very shy on the first day that i got there. I eventually

During that time we lived in a studio in my grandpas house. The school i attended at the time was Dwight eisenhower elementary. Everyone thought i was a genius because i got 4 diplomas at the trimester awards while everyone got two or one. What i remember the most from living with my grandpa was every weekend he used to knock at our door at 7 am just to come talk to us. It was annoying because he wouldn't stop until we opened the door. He was always so eager to spend time with his grandkid. It was nice being the only child, but then came 2006 and i was no longer the queen of the house. Before i knew it in 2008 we had another package included into my family. Our family was growing rapidly so my parents decided to move out into a much bigger house, which is where i live today. I moved to a new school called carrillo ranch elementary. Everything was pretty smooth, no worries, no stress, and easy going such as in the beginning of a roller…

Although I have lived in Ohio for the past ten years and have been molded by the experiences I have had in the small town of Mount Vernon, I can still fondly remember everything about where I was born and raised. I was born on May 29th, 1998 in the small town of Irving, Texas. Growing up in Texas gave me a concept of how big this world truly is, with the seemingly endless drives to visit family members across state or the incomprehensible size of the Dallas skyline. Visiting my aunts in Texas and living with my grandmother during the first months of my living in Ohio taught me valuable life lessons and morals that I carry with me to this day.…

I started at a head start school called Guadalupe Head Start-Loyola at the age of 3, then went on to Fairview Charter School, and now I'm at Hamilton. I was doing great at head start because it was mostly playtime and I was outgoing, I was doing pretty good in Fairview too, but as I aged and in the 5th grade I became very introverted. When I got to the age I could start school, I was excited. I started school like any other kids my age did. Kindergarten through first grade were fun for me. Second grade came and that is when things started happening that I did not like, and third grade I absolutely hated. I was being bullied and was ignored by teachers. I was viewed differently just because that school thought I should have been in special ed. They got their way for a little while, by having my parents sign some papers that would provide some extra help, but the contract never said I would be in special ed. My parents were absolutely furious when they found out I was in special ed when they did not give permission to the school to put me in there. So came the time to move. I started attending Udall Schools in fourth grade. I was welcomed by a class that was eager to know me and teachers willing to help. My teachers helped me learn the concepts I missed from the previous school.…

Summer went bye like it wasn't even there and by the time school started I was very depressed. The new school I was going to was Naperville North High School which was about ten times the size of my old school in Pennsylvania in size and in the number of students. In my school in Pennsylvania there were about twelve students in each class, here the number runs around thirty two. The school building was so big I had a lot of trouble getting to class on time let alone finding them in the building. The school wasn't what I was bothered by the most because it was the fact that I didn't have any social life and I was a social person. There were a lot of different groups of people at my new high school, it was tough for me to fit in and meet new people. Everyone just knew me as the new kid and didn't even bother to find out what my real name was. The first month of being the new kid is a very hard month of school. I knew no one who I had anything in common with and began to get terrible grades in…

This great change in my life was when my family was forced to move to a new city when I was fourteen. Not only, was I facing a great change, but it would be a change that would affect me for the rest of my life. When I found out that we were moving, I was frightened.
