Cinderella Story 2013
Once upon a time there lived a despondent young girl. Her mother was departed and her father married a cruddy woman, who had 2 cruddy daughters. The despondent young girl name was Cinderella. Cinderella stepmother didn’t like Cinderella at all. The stepmother only loved her 2 daughters. Her daughters had everything- Polo’s, Jordan’s, chicken boxes, and all. But for Cinderella there was nothing. Not any clothes or shoes from Foot Locker, Hollister, or Polo. She only got clothes and shoes from the thrift shop.
Cinderella had to work all the time for everyone. She had to work like a maid. The only time Cinderella got to take a break was at noon. At noon Cinderella would eat 1 hot pocket, drink 1 Capri Sun and talk to her only friend. Cinderella didn’t have any friends so she would talk to SimSims, which is a talking robot. SimSims and Cinderella would have a lot of conversations about the 50th anniversary of Foot Locker and how they would give away some free beautiful Air Jordan’s V “Bel-Air”. Cinderella dream was to always wear some Air Jordan’s.
When Cinderella step sister heard Cinderella talking about the new Jordan’s she went and told the stepmother. The stepmother hated the fact that Cinderella was talking about the new Jordan’s so she went and took Cinderella robot and throw it in the trash. Cinderella was so angry that she wanted to knock her stepmother out, but she knew she would get in deep trouble with her father. Cinderella father did not like Cinderella at all. He would put the stepmother daughter in front of his own daughter.
The next day it was the 50th anniversary of Foot Locker. Everyone was getting ready to go but not Cinderella. Cinderella father told her that she could not go because she looks like a dirty person that should be at Lexington Market. Cinderella was so hurt because that was her biological father that said that about his own daughter. Everyone left out and left Cinderella on her own with a full list of chorus. But then When Cinderella dropped a tear on that paper a beautiful angel appeared.
That angel was Cinderella mother. “Why are you crying love?” said Cinderella mother “Is it because you want to join the 50th anniversary at Foot Locker?” Cinderella just nodded her head in sorrow. “A beautiful girl like you should always be able to go anywhere, you shouldn’t be stuck in the house doing other people dirty laundry.” said Cinderella mother. “Father said I’m too dirty to be going anywhere.” said Cinderella.
Just then Cinderella mother took some sparkly dust and blew it on Cinderella and suddenly something amazing happen. Cinderella turned into a beautiful Megan Good look alike. “Now all we need is a beautiful car.” said Cinderella mother. Then Cinderella mother got out a wand and there appeared a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport car. “Now be back by twelve or everything will disappear.” said Cinderella mother. Cinderella took off in a new Bugatti and a new beautiful look.
Cinderella had a good time getting her new Jordan’s and meeting new people. Cinderella even met the ravens runner back Ray Rice. They fell in love at first sight. But then Cinderella looked up at the clock and it was 11:58. Cinderella remembered what her mother said and she ran off and left one of her Jordan’s behind. Ray Rice saw the shoe and told everyone to search for a girl that could fit that Jordan.
So the policies tried the Jordan on every girl foot in the world and the only girl was let was Cinderella. The police came knocking on the door looking for Cinderella. Everyone kept saying it couldn’t be that ugly poor girl, but as they tried the Jordan on her it was a perfect match. The police took Cinderella back to ray rice so they could get married and everyone live happily ever after. But for the stepmother live was horrible. Cinderella requested that the step mother and daughter should go each one on one with Floyd “Money” Mayweather. And for the father Ray rice requested that he live in jail until he die.

Throughout Elizabeth Panttaja’s article, the audience is provided with impressive mental illustrations in which portray the Cinderella society recognizes today as deceptive. The idea Pantajja is presenting to her intended audience comes from the foundation of the original Cinderella titled “Ashputtle.” Panttaja discloses that “Cinderella….has little to do with her being a standup citizen and more to do with her intense loyalty to her dead mother and a string of subversive acts; she disobeys the stepmother, enlists in forbidden helpers, uses magical powers, lies, hides, dissembles, disguises herself and evades pursuit”(Panttaja #60). The superior statement may be directly interpreted as Pantajja believes firmly that Cinderella is horribly misbehaved, disrespectful alongside deceitful.…

In The essay Cinderella: Not So Morally Superior by Elisabeth Panttaja, the author analyzes the classic fairy tale that most of us have grown up knowing of Cinderella. The author’s analysis is a bit abrupt and right to the point, but also cleverly stated. The authors essay is about Cinderella being crafty, and not the normal perception of Cinderella being a princess who is virtuous and patient. It is also described in the essay that Cinderella may not be as motherless as it seems in the classic fairy tale. We think to assume that because she has magical powers looking over her that she is also of hierarchy morally. It is an example of the complexity in what is portrayed as a simple story. A story about good Vs. Evil, and good always overcomes.…

Growing up I can remember how I felt after watching the Cinderella story. Inspired by the rags-to-riches fairy tale, I can remember hoping that maybe someday I could be like Cinderella. I never imagined the story I knew all-too-well would have been dramatically altered from its original version. Though the lesson remains the same, comparisons reveal numerous differences between Walt Disney’s Cinderella to the earlier Charles Perrault’s “Cinderella: Or the Glass Slipper”. Variations are noticed in characters, events, and outcomes of this world-famous…

First of all, the description given of Cinderella is much more detailed and specific than the description given of Little Red Riding Hood. Readers of Cinderella’s story know that her mother died when she was very young, that her father remarried a woman who doesn’t care much for Cinderella, and that she now has two wicked step-sisters, Anastasia and Drizella, who make the concept of a blended family little more than a nightmare for Cinderella. The reader immediately feels a sense of sympathy for Cinderella. Some readers may have lost a parent themselves, and many have experienced “step” relationships that were less than ideal, to say the least. They may also feel that, like Cinderella, they too have to do all the work in their home, whether it’s washing the dishes or scrubbing a soot-encrusted fireplace. In contrast, readers know very little about Little Red Riding Hood, except that her mother sews, as evidenced by the brightly colored cloak she wears as her trademark, and that her grandmother lives in the woods. Frankly, that’s not much of a description, and certainly not one that allows a reader to feel any kind of connection to her.…

Once again, it is up to her fairy godmother and the prince to rescue her from a life of cruelty. Marriage is her ultimate goal, as it is seemingly her only chance at escape. The movie revolves around beauty and impressing others. Cinderella could have easily gone to the ball in her everyday clothes, but instead she knew that she needed to wear something fancy to impress the men she might meet. Additionally, the prince falls in love with her before they even speak, contributing even more to the idea that beauty is the most important. Despite the fact that she disobeys her step-mother’s orders to not go to the ball, Cinderella still manages to embody innocence and remain submissive to those around her (Baker-Sperry…

In her essay “I Am Cinderella’s Stepmother and I Know My Rights” Judith Rossner humorously argues and sues the Disney Corporation for bringing out a movie that was not put into the right perspective of her family. She states “she never said her girls were easy” and after her first husband passed her girls “became anxious and moody and worried that their prospects for decent marriages had been ruined” (663). She includes how wrong the Disney Corporation misconstrued her daughters for Cinderella. That her daughters were the good children and Cinderella…
