Christian Character Traits Essay
In believe as a Christian it is important to have good character traits, so that you can represent Jesus in a good way towards non-believers. It is our job to bring non-believers in and show them the correct path. So the way u act and respond in certain situations will be looked at from the world and you want them to make others ask the question of what makes you different. We can not achieve anything with God's help so it is only with the help of God can we develop good Character traits. Good character traits are very important for a Christian and the three character traits I would work on building would be faithfulness, diligence, and humility.
You definitely need to develop a strong faith in God as a Christian. God's love is everlasting and he wants us to grow closer to him. We can grow our faith by reading the bible every day, doing devotions, attending bible study, and more other things. Your faith in God is enough to get you through any situation or tragedy in your life, so it is important to build it strong and sturdy. There will come times when your faith is put to the test and times where someone will try to question your faith and you need to be ready to stand strong and defend your faith, or explain your faith to someone and lead them to God. …show more content…

You are doing and doing it with your full effort. So in everything you do, you should put all your effort into doing it. You should diligently read your bible, and diligently obey God's commands. Being diligently is a great trait and can be applied in your normal life as well as your spiritual life.     Part One of Elmer Towns’ Concise Bible Doctrines introduces Christian theology by outlining the key pieces of the doctrine to help the reader understand Christianity and faith. Towns begins by saying that the main purpose of Bible doctrine is to communicate the gospel to the people at a point of need. Every man has the same need because every man is cut off from God. Man is born with a sin nature, and because he is less than holy, he is isolated and alienated from God. Death is imminent for everyone, but God communicates through the Bible that through Jesus Christ, man can be saved. The word “gospel” means “good news.” It is the responsibility of every Christian to reach out in relationships to the unsaved in sharing this news, and to other Christians in fellowship. Christians are called to seek God, and study the Bible to learn to know Him better, and worship Him always. Proper worship of God requires faith; the source of which is the Bible. Doctrinal faith is the beginning and the test of Christianity. If our statement of faith is wrong, than our faith is misplaced. Our faith must be grounded on correct knowledge of God. However, intellectual knowledge of God is not enough. Emotional expression and volition are equally important. The Holy Spirit acts on behalf of Jesus Christ to plant faith in a Christian’s heart. He indwells us, and helps us exercise our faith daily. We can grow in our faith by studying God’s word, seeking the Lord, confessing sin, actively following biblical principles, and constantly communicating with God. Faith is ultimately a reliance and trust of God, and the Bible teaches us to rely on Him for everything.…

    Each and every one of us, whether it is strong or weak, has some type of relationship with the body of Christ. This is because each one of us has some type of relationship with God. What is very important is to make that relationship stronger. God created each and every one of us in his image. God has a plan for each and every one of us. No matter what, God is always there for us until the end of time, so we do not want to disappoint him. Some ways in which we can strengthen our relationship with God are to go to Church every Sunday, "talk" with him more often.
