Logistics activities is the activities that the chipsy company do to successfully apply the system and the total cost approaches; these activities are different and vary from company to another. Chipsy Company has verity of logistics activities as customer service, demand forecasting, facility location decision, international logistics, inventory management, materials handling, order management, packaging, procurement, transportation management and warehouse management. Customer services, is about providing the right person receives the right product at the right place at the right time in the right condition and at the right cost so chipsy company is care about providing verity of products with different costs to be suitable to all customer requirement as forno chipsy, cransh chipsy, Deraties, chetios, …show more content…
Facility location decisions, logistics depend on the location of the relevant warehousing and production facilities so, Chipsy Company have different location of warehouse. International logistics, refers to the logistics activities associated with goods that are sold for example, Chipsy Company has many logistics activities as transportation and warehouse. Inventory management, refers to three relevant costs, the cost of carrying product, the cost of ordering product, the cost of being out of stock so, Chipsy Company has do their efforts to manage their inventory. Materials handling, refers to the short distance movement of the products as the distance of the warehouse of the chipsy company and the customer. Order management, refers to management of the activities that take place between the times a customer places an order and the time it is received by the customer for example, chipsy company takes two hours maximum to successfully arrive to the
