Childhood Obesity Persuasive Speech
A group of kids got a chance to put the pedal to the metal...on their bicycle that is.

Kids from Frontier Elementary participated in the Bike Rodeo.

It was an event put on by the school to promote safety and fitness.

The kids completed a number of circuits, including a figure 8, stop on a dime and a paper delivery drop.

Physical Education Teacher Cory Tonnsen said childhood obesity is an epidemic and events like this help fight it.

We want them to have fun. we want them to get out and have fun their friends and prompt physical fitness outside of [physical education classes] as well.

Organizers gave the first 100 students who arrived a free bike helmet.
