Science is considered as a continuous human effort to systemize knowledge to describe and understand nature. Chemistry is defined as that branch of science which deals with the study of composition structure and properties of matter and the changes which the matter undergoes under different condition and the laws which govern these changes. Chemistry- a key of mystery is a subject which is necessary for living in this world. Today chemistry has become a daily use in our life. Without chemistry, living on this earth is not possible. Most people wake up to an alarm or radio. These common house hold items contain batteries, which make them very chemically dependent. These batteries contain positive and negative electrodes. The positive electrode consists of a carbon rod surrounded by a mixture of carbon and manganese di oxide. The negative electrode is made of zinc. To do brush, we use tooth paste which is made because of chemistry. It contains sorbitol, water, hydrated silica, sodium lauryl sulphate, cellulose gum, flavor etc. So, toothpaste is all chemistry. When we go to bath, we use soaps. It consists of sodium palm kernelate, sodium palmate, sorbitol, glycerin etc. it is made because of chemistry only. Chemistry plays an important role in the discovery and understanding of materials contained in those and many other common household items. Things like household cleaners and water purification systems are vitally dependent on chemistry. Without chemistry something as simple as scrubbing a toilet without fear of severe burns or small explosions might not be possible. Next through it isn’t widely known chemistry is also heavily involved with the manufacturing of things such as makeup and soap. Each time you bath you are witnessing chemistry at work. Chemicals such as acetyl alcohol and Propylene glycol are typical ingredients in the soap used to wash your hair and skin. Without chemistry these materials (or combinations of these...
