Charles Pete Conrad Character Analysis

Charles Pete Conrad was one of the few men to walk on the moon. However, one thing I can't believe about him is his untimely humor. Charles Pete Conrad was the 3rd person on the moon, with him being on Apollo 12. He goes up there, (his team's mission being a precision landing) with intensity filling the air. Also it was very dangerous because lightning strikes had taken out power in the Command Module 5 days earlier, completely erasing any form of guidance. Later, as he was stepping on the moon's floor, he joked about his small height comparing it to Neil Armstrong. He said himself – "Whoopee!
