Character Analysis Of Chris Kyle: The American Sniper
For my inspiring character I have chosen Chris Kyle the American Sniper. Chris was a navy seal and had finished four full tours in the Iraq war; he had 160 confirmed kills and is known to be the deadliest sniper in U.S history. During those tours he had to deal with racism, hatred, and a people that were too afraid to tell them if their whole platoon was going to walk into a building where they would be killed or if they were driving down a road with I.E.D’s. He had made this world a better place by taking down key targets in the Iraq war and even started his own squad of elite soldiers to hunt down the men responsible for the rebellion and a sniper that American soldiers feared and on top of it all he had a family to raise. He played a crucial role in the Iraq war and really fought hard …show more content…
He prevented so much and also benefited this world by contributing to the everlasting battle for veterans. For them the war is not over and he served as the light in the darkness and helped many and with his book and movie. He raised even more awareness for it and even though he was killed by a Vet he was trying to help his message still stands there and greatly benefits this world. The ways we can apply this to ourselves is that the hardships we go through can be overcome and that we should not fear the unknown but make a difference and overcome our obstacles. Chris dealt with death every day and choices that could potentially get all of his buddies killed. When we deal with decisions on a much smaller and lesser of a deadly scale. I learned a lot from hearing Chris’s story and I’d have to say that we can all learn from his experience and what he went through and do more in our communities to help those who can't help themselves. I know I’ve learned from his story and I have become more motivated with sports and school, I have more discipline with working out and eating right after hearing

In Chris’s quest to become independent and responsible, he actually did just the opposite. Chris had an obligation at home to his family. They put him through college, and raised him. Even though they weren’t always setting the best example for him; families are not perfect. Instead of finding his way in a responsible was, he just dropped everything, changed his name and left without telling anyone where he was. He had no compassion for his parents who did love him. He had no respect for the people around him. He just threw them away like a piece of trash.…
