Can you imagine living with Leonardo da Vinci? In Leonardo’s Shadow by Christopher Grey, a boy the age of about fourteen doesn’t imagine, but is actually living that dream we might now want. But life with Italy’s greatest artist isn’t that great after all. Giacomo is a boy that nobody really knows about. He lives with Leonardo da Vinci as his servant, but wants to learn under him and become his apprentice. Giacomo came to live with da Vinci when he was running away from a mob who claimed he stole things. When he is almost caught, he has to jump off of a church’s roof.
