Cell division occurs when cells are dividing in order to produce new cells. I have compared the differences between cancer and good cell division to find out the process of division of all cells, this is also when I found that there are different more complicated chromosomes in cancer cells. One of the main problems with cancer cells comparing is the chance of tumor formation which leads to the invasion of cancerous cells. Another consequence is the cancer spreading to other organs. A tumor consists of a mass of cancer cells in the tissue. Usually an evasive tumor is malignant, causing cells to develop in the blood. Tumors invade growth that the tissue and organs need to survive.…

Respiration is the process by which organisms burn food to produce energy. The starting material of cellular respiration is the sugar glucose, which has energy stored in its chemical bonds. You can think of glucose as a kind of cellular piece of coal: chock-full of energy, but useless when you want to power a stereo. Just as burning coal produces heat and energy in the form of electricity, the chemical processes of respiration convert the energy in glucose into usable form.…

There are two types of cells that exist. Prokaryotic cells are simple cells that have few organelles. These cells don’t have a nucleus, but do have DNA. The DNA acts as a sort of “blueprint” for growth and reproduction in the cell. Prokaryotes are things like Bacteria. Eukaryotic cells are a lot more complex than a prokaryotic cell. These cells are able to convert food to energy, break down waste products, digest food, and assist with reproduction of new cells. Eukaryotic cells are in things like Plants, Animals, and Fungi.…
