Cedar Point Research Paper
Cedar Point is one of the best amusement parks in the world. Over the years Cedar Point expanded and got new rides. Because of the ability of expanding and making it through hard times helped keep Cedar Point open all theses years. In 2020 Cedar Point will be 150 years old. Cedar Point is an amazing place with a lot of history and famous rides with many different awards.
With being around for many years, Cedar Point has a lot of history. Cedar Point first opened in 1870. Cedar Point opened as a beach with a few rides. Cedar Point started becoming what it is today back in 1892 when they built the Switchback Railway. The Switchback Railway was about 25 ft. tall and roughly 10 MPH. In 1959 Cedar Point will build another way to get to Cedar Point. They will build the Cedar Point Marina and it is the largest on Lake Erie. Cedar Point keeps expanding so in 1961 the Sky Ride is built. It is a transportation ride so they made it easier to move around the park. In 1963 the CP and LE railroad opens which will take you from the front of the park to the back. In 1964 Cedar Point's oldest operating Roller Coaster, Blue Streak, opens. In 1991 Cedar Point creates a wooden monster called Mean Streak. In 1993 Snake River Falls opens. Another record breaking roller coaster is built in 1994. Cedar Point will help make you fly with Raptor. Cedar Point will take you high up in the air with a drop tower. In 1998 Cedar Point builds Power Tower.     Originally called “Maketewa” by Native Americans, Mill Creek is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It flows roughly 28 miles, starting at Liberty Township and flowing through 34 other communities and is a tributary to the Ohio River.
