The theme is that lions should be free. Nothing should hold them back. These lions should not be raised in cages they need to be free so they can thrive and grow and play with other lions and be able to hunt. Then in the text “wild home” by Rebecca Kai Dotlich It says: “grazing in star grass, listening to sunbirds and weavers, joining fellow roamers day and night.” Then it says “They belong under the white moon, free and untethered and wild like savanna skies.” Then in the text “The wild life of Christian the lion” By Tod Olson. For over 150 million years, dinosaurs dominated Earth. They were incredibly successful-so successful in fact that all of the other animal groups had no choice but to play a secondary role in nature. 65 million years ago, however, every species of dinosaur went extinct as well mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, ammonites, and many families of brachiopods and sea sponges. Also, many shark species as well as most vegetation did not survive(“Dinosaur Extinction”). What could have possibly killed off the dominant animal group of the time? The answer to this question is still unclear but there are many hypotheses that attempt to explain this extinction event. To find out exactly how this happened, evidence must be gathered not only from fossils…

Dinosaurs first appeared around 245 million years ago, and they lived for 180 million years. Then suddenly, 65 million years ago they went extinct. Not only did all the dinosaurs die out, but also up "to 75% of all marine genera were lost" ("mass extinction"). This leaves scientists wondering about what could have led to this mass extinction in the Cretaceous Period. They have collected evidence from fossils and earth’s geography, to propose some theories Scientists believe that the dinosaur extinction was due to either the collision of a massive asteroid, the eruptions of the Deccan Trap volcanos, or the epidemic of diseases.…

Plato argues that perceptions of material objects are imperfect reflections of an unchanging form of truth that can be pursued through the quest for knowledge and belief. He outlines the order in which the escaped prisoner would ascend in understanding; “At first it would be easiest to make out shadows, and then the images of men and things reflected in water, and later on the things themselves… last of all, he would be able to look at the sun and contemplate its nature… in its own domain.” Basically: the cave is our societal structure, we are the prisoners, the shadows are our limited understanding of reality, and the sun is the ultimate truth. Through this process that the escaped prisoner goes through to reach understanding of the outside world, Plato implies that the sun represents the ultimate truth that the escaped prisoner eventually reaches, corresponding with “the essential Form of Goodness”, suggesting that Goodness equates with the highest level of understanding. This defines for the readers that learning and knowledge is a slow progression that leads to the truth by demystifying the shadows of imperfect objects, classifying truth as the greatest enlightenment and righteousness available.…
