Case Study: The Cost Of Homelessness
1- How do you think that the HCW’s actions affected the client/family’s well-being or quality of life?
I think, all the homeless people were benefited from the mobile team. According to Green doors (2008), homeless people stay in hospital at least 4 days in year. As we nurse we know how much the cost of the hospital stay is. Decreasing hospital stay is not biggest benefit from this kind of program, homeless people can get continuum of care.
2- What is one action that you and your fellow health care workers might take in this news situation?
When I have patient with less money or homeless, me and my coworkers can f find ways of help for them

Not just in shelter costs but in paying law-enforcement officers who arrest individuals for things like trespassing, public intoxication or sleeping in parks.
