INTRODUCTION

This assignment in which Snap Inc. has been chosen as a case study will shed some light briefly on the history of Snap Inc, the nature of business its involved in, the market base the firm targets, the original mission and vision of Snap Inc as the founders stated at the start of the business and the future objectives of the organization for the next five years.
Consequently, the above information about the firm will then be used to evaluate and make comments on whether the original mission and vision of the firm set at the start up stage has been met or adhered to.

The application called snapchat is downloaded by users on their smartphones from the respective stores depending on the smartphones’ operating system. The firm produces multimedia sharing products whereby customers can share multimedia messages known as snaps which can consist of a photo or a short video and can be edited to include effects, drawings, text captions and filters.

TARGET MARKETS SERVED BY SNAP INC.

The target market served by the firm consist mainly of millennials and other set of people such as innovators, early adopters, early majority and late majority(Austin Iuliano, Snapchat Storyteller, Strategist and Creator of Snapchat Mastery, October 2016). Millennials( William Strauss and Neil Howe, 1987) that are also known as Generation Y(Advertising Age Editorial Magazine, 1993) are the demographic cohorts following Generation X. · Development of a good customer base by creating a perfect condition for a sound consumer-producer interactive atmosphere implying a good customer care department.
· Creation of a good environment for the proper functioning of the business by having a good workers’ welfare management system and the best quality conflict control measures among employees.
· There should be provision for a good forecast on the complete affairs of the business, for example, forecasts and predictions on profits and losses, sales and purchase, cash flows and audits of the firm.
· Proper monitoring should be carried out on business objectives and targets so as to check for the possibility of perfect implementations.
· During the stipulated period or duration of business plan, regular checks should be done on the above suggestions mentioned so as to be sure if the firm’s targets are been propelled towards or otherwise.
