A.Consumer would prefer to shop in stores rather than online for some reasons that they need to touch and feel the material and the quality of the product before purchasing it especially for women. Also some consumer wouldn’t predict their true size, they want try it before purchasing it rather than order it online and get the wrong size or even the wrong product they expected. Buyers also would prefer to buy the product and take it home immediately with them. They do not want to wait until they receive the product after few days. Costumers also concerns about returning their items and get full refund, some online shopping website do not guarantee returning or even exchanging items or full refund. Other reason that some buyers prefer asking some question on the product to the staff face to face not by text. Also customers think that the in store prices are never changing unless there is a discount, so they are pretty sure that if they purchase a product today, they cannot find it tomorrow with lower price.

The individual, who chooses to buy in-store, has certain shopping hours in order to receive a discount or closeout price. The online customer needs to have a promotional code in order to get the best deals. Online stores also offer free shipping to get the customer to buy online. The customer will save money no matter how they decide to buy because both options offer ways to save money. The downfall with shopping online is the consumer has to wait for the product to arrive and to pay the shipping costs. The customer pays for shipping in the form of filling up his or her gas tank to drive to the store. The shipping cost is about the same if not more than if the individual drove to the store to purchase the product. If consumers discover that the item they have already purchased is offered at a lower price later on they will return it and repurchase it. Two benefits from shopping in-store are getting out of the house and physical activity from walking around a store. Another benefit for shoppers is the instant satisfaction of taking purchased items home instead of waiting for the products to be shipped. Shopping in a store allows people to try on clothes, test out a couch or chair to see if it is comfortable, or watch a television to see how clear the picture is.     This chapter will mainly discuss on the study that are done by previous research of other authors in the similar area of the present study. This study combines factors that other studies have done that will influence the consumer's purchasing decision in online and offline stores for apparels. It includes the price attractiveness, time saving, perceived risk, enjoyment and excitement, tangibility and high interactivity. All of these factors will contribute to the study of customer's purchasing intention for apparels on both stores which includes online and offline shopping. Pan, (2007) defined purchasing intention as the eagerness of purchasing the product. Similarly, Engel, Blackwell and Miniard, (1990) defines purchasing intention as a psychological process of decision-making. In online shopping, it is expected that shoppers are more likely to associate price attractiveness and time saving with their intention to shop while in offline shopping, consumers are more likely to associate tangibility, high interactivity and enjoyment with their intention to shop. As a result, online marketers or retailers should be aware of the problems faced by the consumers and their perceived risk to increase their intention to shop in online.     One of the great choices that we have in the modern world today is whether to shop online or actually go to the brick and mortar store and do our shopping. While both offer great sales and promotions along with great selections from which to choose, they both have pros and cons which must be considered in order to determine which of the two choices offer the best shopping option. In-store shopping offers the buyer the opportunity to inspect and compare the items being considered for purchase along with sales people who can assist or aide the buyer with any problems or concerns that the buyer may encounter while shopping in the store in contrast to online shopping which limits the senses and the ability to compare because the items can’t actually be held or touched.
