Can An Iceberg Have More Heat Energy
To answer this question, we must know what heat is. Heat is the total amount of the movement of particles in an object. Our the total amount of kinetic energy.
Explanation:
Imagine the particles in the hot water are moving, but there is not a lot of particles in that pot of water. Then imagine an iceberg that has a lot of particles that are moving at a much slower rate, but what’s more average speed moving particles or a massive amount of below average speed moving particles. Remember that we are not saying that the iceberg is warmer than the pot of water, but the iceberg has more heat. So yes an Iceberg can have more heat energy than a pot of hot water.

In every reaction, energy is transferred between a system and its environment. A system encompasses the substances that are involved in a reaction, and everything else in the universe other than the system is called the environment. The standard SI unit of energy is Joules (J). Temperature is the level of excitement of the atoms in a substance. In most cases, energy is transferred by heat. Heat is the energy released from a change in temperature. The standard units for heat and temperature are in degrees Celsius or Kelvin (both have the same increment between each degree, the difference is that Celsius is based off…
