Call Of The Wild Compare And Contrast
The book ‘’Call of the Wild” and”The Fairy and the Shadow” have the same theme of loyalty.Although they do have differences.They also have some things in common.One of the large differences is “The Fairy and the Shadow’’ could not happen but “Call of the Wild” could happen bt is not based on a true story.One of the things they have in common is they have someone or somthing that remains loyal throught the whole story and book.These are some of the things they have in common and they have differently in the storys.

The larger differences is the story “Call of the Wid” could actually happen unlike “The Fairy and the Shadow” its characters are fairies and consist of a monster.The book “Call of the Wild” is realistic fiction because it is made

    Call Of The Wild: Movie Analysis

    David Fallon’s film, Call of the Wild, is movie surrounding the adventures of a young man and his dog. I watched the film on my computer on July 1st, 2015. The movie begins with a kidnapped dog, named Buck, being auctioned off. Buck immediately steals the attention of young Miles, the other protagonist in the movie. Buck initially works as a sled dog for a Yukon mail carrier. On his first job, Buck faces severe weather, wolf attacks, and a fight with Spitz, the team’s lead dog. The harsh conditions kill every dog except for Buck and leaves the mail carrier in a near-death condition. Buck saves the mail carrier, but is sold again to two travelers, Hal and Mercedes. Miles is hired as a travel guide for the duo. Hal mistreats the dogs, refuses to listen to Miles, and eventually causes his own death. Mercedes and Miles are able to survive the journey with Buck’s aid.…

    Remember JonBenet Ramsey, the six year old child beauty pageant queen whose body was found in her family basement hours after she was reported missing on December 5, 1996? Someone strangled and hit her in the head then wrapped her body in a blanket. Their been many speculation who killed her even her own family, but to this day no one really knows what happened in the Ramsey house when she was murdered. After that incident I would think that parents would be more cautious about their children but since then children pageantry has skyrocketed. There’s currently, more than 5,000 child pageants are held annually in the United states alone and approximately 250,000 of those children participating in those pageants; 100,000 of them are under the age of 12 (Child Beauty Pageants).     Into the Wild happens to be my favorite book, and also one of my favorite movies. Most people like one or the other, but I think the two complement each other because of the varied stances taken on the main character himself. In case you’re not familiar, Into the Wild is based on the true story of Chris McCandless who, after graduating with honors from Emory University in 1990, gave his entire savings of twenty-four thousand dollars to charity and set off following his dream of living off the land in the Alaskan wilderness. McCandless made it to Alaska, but died shortly after taking residence in an abandoned bus; he probably passed from eating the wrong deadly plant or possibly from starvation. The book was written by John Krakauer in 1996 and was an expansion of an article he wrote based on his fascination with Chris McCandless called “Death of an Innocent” which appeared in the January 1993 issue of Outside magazine. The movie was directed by Sean Penn and came out in 2007. Both the book and the movie tell the story of Chris McCandless aka Alexander Supertramp, and his journey hitchhiking from Georgia to Alaska on a quest for truth. Although the book and the film are similar, there are a myriad of differences as well.…
