LongHorn Steakhouse

Introduction

LongHorn Steakhouse was first founded in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia by George McKerrow, Jr. His vision of the restaurant was to provide the most perfect steak, but nobody seem to have taken notice of his restaurant until about 1982 when he thought the restaurant was about to not make it . There was ice and storm that hit the south that took a no name steakhouse to what everyone knows today as LongHorn Steakhouse. LongHorn is now part of Darden Restaurants, which is why they have been able to become such a popular name. Since 1982, LongHorn has over 435 locations in the East, Midwest, and Southwest United States, and in Puerto Rico , and the company is still growing strong.

LongHorn Steakhouse is just that, it is a restaurant that provides the finest cuts of beef. They show their passion for grilling fresh steaks that have never been frozen, with special seasoning that is only known to them. Not only are they known for their steaks, but for their chicken, fish, and fall of the bone ribs. This is a well-rounded restaurant and anyone from the age of 5 to 99 can find something on the menu that will be fitting to the pallet.

Since LongHorn Steakhouse is part of Darden Restaurants, the strategic vision actually falls under all of the restaurants under Darden. There are a few things that separate this group of restaurants from the rest that make up their strategic vision. The Darden Restaurant Group believes in integrity and fairness; meaning that they follow through on all of their commitments . Being of Service is an important part of the vision, as it shows that the company is willing to go above and beyond its’ normal needs to guarantee that everyone is content . There are so many different parts of the Darden vision, and one other one that really brings to light of what kind of company this is and why it is different from others is that, they are always learning and always teaching. From this Darden is willing to

Texas Roadhouse is a good candidate for a restaurant if people like delicious food, a talkative waitress and a loud lunch or dinner.…

LongHorn Steak house provides their guests with the finest cuts of beef and other favorites for the not so steak crazed guests. The menu includes; choice chicken breast dishes served with a fresh backed potato, delicious sea food assortments such as lobster or shrimp dishes served with butter based sauces, and of coarse their delectable, juicy, rip, steaks. The price ranges for these dishes are all reasonable with the most expensive dish at $30. There’s a sort of magic in the air when guests receive their first grill scoured steak. The smell is almost uplifting, little bit of garlic, herbs, spices and the smell of a steak grilled to perfection. It tastes better then it smells with its crispy outer and tender inside with a buttery musk after taste. Sauces aren’t needed with steaks like…
