Bugsy Malone: It’s a 1976 British American musical gangster film, very loosely based on events in Chicago from the early 1920’s to 1931 in the prohibition era, specifically the exploits of gangsters like Al Capone and Bugs Moran, as dramatized in cinema. Featuring only child actors (with singing voices provided by adults). A gangster movie where all the gangsters are played by children. Instead of real bullets they use ‘’Splurge guns’’ that cover the victim in cream. The story tells of the rise of ‘’Bugsy Malone’’ and the battle for power between ‘’Fat Sam’’ and ‘’Dandy Dan’’. What’s the point in ‘Bad Guys’?
In part of the lyrics it states ‘We could of been anything that we wanted to be’ some people listening to the song might think it means something (the lyrics) but I just think its coincidence and that the song doesn’t relate to anything. The people starring in Bad Guys seem happy about being ‘bad’ and it kind of sounds like they’re boasting –‘were rotten to the core, our congratulations no one likes us anymore’ this obviously means they prefer being bad guys to good. That’s most probably why they named the song ‘Bad Guys’.
High School Musical: New Years Eve- Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez are at a ski resort during winter break. Troy is a popular basketball player and Gabriella is a girl Ein Stein. They’re forced to sing karaoke together but afterwards exchange numbers. After winter break, Troy returns to his school in Albuquerque- New Mexico, where he is surprised to discover Gabriella is a new student. They become friends quickly and decide to audition for the Winter Musical in pairs. They end up performing in the big end show but before the performance they come across jealousy (Sharpay Evans) and a few upsets. It ends up being a happy ending luckily.
