Bucky: A Fictional Narrative
The dim lights, the clink of glasses, and the soft chatter of other gala attendees easily put Bucky’s mind at ease. If he closed his eyes, he could almost imagine being back in his normal life. A time before all this advanced technology and loudness.

All he needed was a glass of scotch and a pretty girl to complete it. Well, he could get scotch at least. He supposed that his metal arm and war criminal background wouldn’t exactly make the ladies flock to his sides.

“Buck, all I’m saying is that it isn’t that bad being married. I think it’d suit you well.” Steve said, kissing Sharon’s cheek.

She smiled and blushed, leaning into him.

“Oh? What makes you say that?” Bucky challenged.

Steve grinned a little, giving Sharon a knowing look. “Just

He heard Steve stifle a laugh, punching him when Y/N turned to talk to Sharon. “You’ve never stuttered in front of a girl, just saying.” Steve said.

“There’s a first for everything.” Bucky grumbled.

Throughout the night, Bucky couldn’t help but feel small underneath Y/N’s gaze. She was amazing. She was funny, insightful, and had a certain fire in her that pulled him in in an instant.

She giggled, her smile bright. “I’m kidding, no one would ever stand you up.” She said.

Bucky grinned and leaned back in his seat, looking at her with tender admiration. “How can you be so sure?” He asked.

“You’re too attractive.” She said, smiling and leaning back.

She leaned a little closer to him, her eyes

You’re fun, and so pretty...” Bucky murmured.

“Kiss me then.” She murmured back.

Bucky didn’t even hesitate to lean forward and press his lips to hers. She smiled against his lips, not even knowing that his heart was filled with excitement. He pulled her closer, kissing her deeper. As her fingers tangled in his hair, he knew it couldn’t get any better than this.

Bucky pulled Y/N into his apartment, groaning into her mouth as she palmed his cock. He shut the door, pressing her back to it. He froze as she started to pull his pants off. She’d been drinking that night. And even though she was mostly sober, she wasn’t completely.

Bucky stopped her, kissing her forehead. “Not tonight, sweetheart.” He murmured.

She let out a pouty whine, but retracted her hand. “Okay... can we cuddle?” She asked.

“Absolutely.” Bucky replied.

He took her shoes and jewelry off, softly taking her uncomfortable dress off. He carried her to his bed, laying her down. He pulled off the most uncomfortable of his clothes, toeing off his shoes and curling up in bed with her. She reached out, smiling and petting his hair.

“I think this is the first time I’ve ever gone home with a guy and not been pressured to sleep with him.” She
