“How are we going to live? Will you be travelling a lot? What are your plans for me?”

“Jane I travel because I have to. Not because I want to. You know that. I told you about it.”

“I didn’t think it would be like this. The way you said it sounded exciting. You are right. You did tell me. Daniel what about me? Where do I feature on your planner? I miss you. I need you.” Jane said pleadingly.

“I miss you too Jane.” Daniel put his glass down and knelt in front of her, wrapping her in his arms.

“I am thinking of us Jane. My salary has doubled and we will have more money for our future. If we wait.”

“Do you care about me?”

“Of course I do! How can you doubt me? I love you. You are the only one I have ever loved.”

“These are just words Daniel.”

“Jane, what is wrong. We have never fought. We love each other, we respect each other. We have never had any problems. What is wrong with you, why are you bent to find faults?” Daniel held Jane’s shoulders.

“Do we love each other? Do you respect me? Does an absence of fights signify we are happy with each other?” Jane
