Breast Cancer 2
I will be writing this paper on Breast Cancer, in this paper I will talk about why I chose Breast Cancer, why breast cancer means so much to me, and what to look for when doing a self-exam. I chose to write about breast cancer because it is a serious disease that most individuals mainly women put on the back burner cause they think it’s nothing. I also chose to write about Breast cancer because I thought it might help raise more awareness for not only women but also men. Men need to know about Breast Cancer so they know what to look out for on their wives and also if their wives or someone they know comes down with Breast Cancer they will be more supportive and know what they can do at home as far as treatment goes.

In this paragraph I am going to talk about why Breast Cancer means so much to me. Breast Cancer means so much to me for many reasons however I am only going discuss a couple of those reasons. First of all Breast Cancer is means so much to me because my wife was borderline of having Breast Cancer had it not been for a regular checkup with her doctor we never would have known and when we did find out it may have been too late to treat it, the second reason Breast Cancer is so important to me is because so many women get Breast Cancer and don’t realize it or find out till it is too late, also so many women have lost their lives and so many families have lost a loved one due to Breast Cancer women lose their lives because by the time they find out that they have Breast Cancer it is too late for treatment.

In this paragraph I am going to list some things to look for when wondering if you have Breast Cancer. If you have or feel any of the following it does not mean you have Breast Cancer but you should make an appointment with your doctor if you have or feel any of the following, a change in how the breast or nipple feels, a change in appearance of the breast or nipple, any clear or bloody discharge from the nipple there are many signs and

When I was fifteen years old, my mother found a lump in her breast. Of course, when this happened my family and I couldn’t help but be scared for the worst. There were all the consultations and scans to attend to prepare for the biopsy that would give us a diagnosis as well as a potential plan for the proper course of treatment. During this time, there was little we could do besides offer our support and it was difficult being there unable to do anything while she was scared out of her mind. Luckily, the biopsy showed the lump to be a benign tumor known as Lobular Carcinoma in situ (LCIS) that starts in the milk producing glands called lobules of the breast and spreads to the nearby surrounding tissues. Shortly thereafter she had it removed…

Today, one of the most dreaded diseases by women is breast cancer. The advancement of medicine and technology has allowed us to come up with better ways to treat the disease. Olson we are shown the pain that women had to deal with in the 19th century when they developed the malignant breast cancer.…
