Brad Pitt's Views On Religion
Brad Pitt became an atheist because he developed “Christian guilt” from his upbringing, the actor revealed in a recent interview.
Speaking to the Telegraph on Saturday, Brad Pitt expressed his views on religion and recalled how he was raised as a Southern Baptist by his father. However, he grew up as an atheist because of the “Christian guilt” instilled in him, according to Breitbart.
The Hollywood actor said he chose not to stick to any religion later on in life due to the Christian guilt which always dictated what he should and should not do. In 2007, Pitt told Parade in an interview how he would feel the same emotion when he was touched by the Holy Spirit during Christian revivals and when he went to rock concerts.
“I’d go to Christian revivals and be moved by the Holy Spirit, and I’d go to rock concerts and feel the same fervor,” Breitart quotes Pitt’s statement to Parade. “Then I’d be told, ‘That’s the Devil’s music! Don’t partake in that!’ I wanted to experience things religion said not to experience.”

It is worth noting that Pitt’s wife, Angelina Jolie, believes that a higher being exists. She says World War II hero Louis Zamperini influenced her spiritual beliefs. The late war hero is the inspiration behind her movie “Unbroken,” the report details.
Despite their difference in religious belief, Brad Pitt thinks they are doing great in the parenting department. He says his wife and six kids have made him a better person and helped him excel in his career even

The idea of religion, mainly Christianity was present throughout the film. The aspect of Christianity was supported by references to historical events and biblical ideas. For instance, when we are introduced to Pleasantville, the town seems to be perfect, as if nothing could go wrong: wrong is unheard of. An example from the film would be when the Pleasantville basketball team simply couldn’t miss a shot, it just wasn’t possible; or when the Pleasantville firefighters are called to rescue cats from trees, because that is ‘in the town’s reality’, one of the only problems needing attention from emergency personnel. Right from the beginning the viewer feels the unsettling religious connection from the bible stories he or she may…

In today's society, people care more about celebrities than they do about the people in their own neighborhood. Even more disturbing people follow celebrities as if they are prophets. They even try to share the same beliefs Kabbalah has reached the height of its popularity with a-list celebrities like Demi Moore, Madonna, and Britney Spears. Tom Cruise has done the same for Scientology. Therefore, it would only make sense for George Clooney and Angelina Jolie‘s disbeliefs to have the same affect as other celebrities' belief. Keeping this in mind, there is only one conclusion I can come to that; celebrity atheists will make the death of God a reality. This may be because society idolizes celebrities, the media, and seeking truth through…
