Black Russian Terrier are also known as Tchiorny Terrier. This breed of dog was developed in Russia during the late 1940s to be used as military dogs. Initially, they were bred as guard dogs. The average weight of this breed is 145 pounds and they can reach a height of up to 30 inches.
