Although there are a lot of eye catching famous people who were born in Arkansas, I've decided to write a essay about Bill Clinton, the 42nd president.
Bill Clinton was born on August 19 1946. He was born in a nearby town called Hope Arkansas. His father was William Jefferson Blyth Jr. and his mother was Virginia Clinton Kelley. As a young child, Bill was taught and raised in a home with his grandparents. His grandparents were very strict with him and wanted him to succeed. They taught him how read at a very young age. Bill recalls”at the age of three, I was already reading small books”. Growing up Bill didn't have his father by his side. Bill’s father had died just several months after he was born. Shortly after they started dating they graduated from the school together and got married two years after that. They had one daughter whose name is Chelsea Clinton. Soon Clinton brought his family to Arkansas, where Bill started working at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Two years later Bill was elected state attorney general. In the year of 1978, at the age of 32 Bill became one of the youngest governors in American history. Bill eventually made it up to the point of wanting to become president. Bill defeated all of his competitors in the Democrat primaries to become the party's nominee for the presidency. Bill choose senator of Tennessee, AL Gore as his vice president. They eventually made it to the top. To get there they had to go through all of the things he was accused of. Bill was accused of dodging military services which hurt his campaign and there was also rumours of marital infidelity. Somehow he managed to pass the problems and become president on November 3,1992. He became the 42nd president. Bill couldn't believe it ever since he was a little boy his mother always said he would be a president someday. Bill Clinton ran his first term as president just fine. When Bill started his second term he was impeached of having sexual relationships with Monica Lewinsky. At first Bill denied having any sexual affairs with her but he later admitted that he did do it. The Congress appointed a independent prosecutor, Kenneth Starr, to investigate the affair.
