Research approaches have multiplied methods and theories to be able to come out with a new conclusion or in order to set evidences. One of the research that was done, was “MORE EXPERIENCE = BIGGER BRAIN? “ by Rosenzweig, M. R., Bennett, E. L., & Diamond, M. C. (1972). Brain changes in response to experience. Scientific American, 226, 22-29, in which different kind of methods was approached, Scientist wanted to know if that animals are raised in a more stimulating environment would it effect brain development. Another research was the theories of “BORN FIRST, BORN SMARTERS?” by Zajonc, R. B., & Markus, G. B. (1975). Birth order and intellectual development. Psychological Review, 82, 74-88 were Robert Zajonc and Gregory Markus Developed a theory explaining the relationship between birth order and intelligence. Rosenzweig, M. R., Bennett, E. They took 1 more rat and put it in a very small cage with no toys and little food and water. The average intellectual level of a family is 67 (100+100+0=200/3=67) If that same family has another child, that child will contribute 10 points. The family intellectual level will now be 52.5.     “Born First, Born Smarter?” Is an article about how the genetics and birth order of any said family affect intelligence. The two main contributors of the study are Robert Zajonc and Gregory Markus. Zajonc and Markus believed that birth order does, in fact, relate to intelligence. Their main questions were how and why the majority of first-born children typically test better and are smarter than their later-born siblings. BrainLAB solutions to the outdated technique of 2-D visualization produced by CT and MRI equipment, is to allow The image-guided systems (IGS) expansion from a single system to operating suites to digitally integrated hospitals covering all subspecialties from neurosurgery, orthopedics, and spine & trauma. BrainLAB would become the innovator in image-guided surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery. The IGS provided highly accurate real-time information used for navigation during surgical procedures. This utility is meant to serve as a computer terminal for physicians to more effectively access and interpret diagnostic scans and other digital medical information for better informed decisions. BrainLAB’s initial goals were to cure cancer with this software, develop, manufacturer, and markets software-driven medical technology that enables procedures that are more precise, less invasive, and therefore less expensive than traditional treatments. In my critical analysis of the case I will implement the market and industry attractiveness of BrainLAB’s IGS systems and answer these key questions through the body of my critical analysis, such as: Should BrainLAB and Medtronic combine business so that it would benefit from BranLAB’s number one position in Europe/Asia and Medtronic’s number one position in the U.S.?
