Big Cities Instead of Countrysides for Children
The issue of whether the children should grow up in the countryside or in the big city has been widely debated in our society. It is an important issue because it concerns the development of our future generation – the children. Some people believe that countryside has the perfect enviroment for children , even though I strongly believe that it would be better for children to grow up in the big city rather than the countryside for two authentic reasons.

Many people consider that it would be best for children's health to live in a clean environment in the countryside also growing up in the countryside gives the children a lot of responsibilities. They have a closer relationship with the family since children usually have to help their parents. Also their natures are naïve because they do not understand steal or cheat. What these people do not consider is that the health of children not only depends on the enviroment , it also depends on how well fed children are and in big cities children can have a better quality of life because of the easy access to services. What is more, if children have to take responsabilities to help their parents in activities like growing crops, feeding animals, and the housework, they won't have enough time to dedicate to their studies. Now consider that if children are naïve they won't be prepared to face real problems , it doesn't mean they have to cheat or steal but they must know how to face these situations.

Better education is one of the striking results of living in big cities. Although some good schools may be found in countryside too, it is too difficult to expect a good education there. If children grow up in a big city , they will have the chance to study in prestige schools ; besides they will be prepared for life with strong competition. In the big cities, education of children is more important for both parents and governments, while in small towns authorities don't worry about it. Also some experts, based on

The air and water quality and other environment factors are improved in the country setting. The school system is safer and less crowded in a rural setting. The roads are not loaded with traffic and taxis. The country is safer than the city and crime rates are lower. In the country, there is an abundance of trees and vegetation. In the country, there are parks and open spaces, and there is a variety of wildlife to observe. Although some of the reasons why one might choose to live in either place are left to personal preference, there are many factors based solely on facts.…

When approaching the countryside you are immersed in the rolling hills of green, the smell of fresh cut grass invades your senses going hand in hand with the birds singing their sweet songs on the rolling air. There are more trees then you can count and it is very comforting scene all together. If you are city bound the city you are faced with tightly packed buildings, cram-packed streets filled with angry drivers forever late for this or that. Smog and a ripe stench that can’t seem to be placed take a permanent seat in your nostrils, walking is nearly impossible to do without running into someone. Definitely not the life for someone who treasures personal space and pleasantries that seem to be swept to the way side with city living. There are less pollution, fewer cars, and fewer factories in the countryside. This shows that the environment is better and more natural in the country. As opposed to a city filled with loud noises and factories which contribute to noise and environmental pollution.…

The availability of many different subjects enables people to get the knowledge in the fields they are seeking which, I think, is immensely important for becoming a good specialist. So he had to move to Yerevan, the capital of my country Armenia, since only in the city could he possible got that education he was looking for.…

The second problem is infrastructure. Schools don’t have enough infrastructures for teaching and studying. Most of schools lack of laboratory and machine room. Students just learn theory lessons and don’t practice, so when graduate, they work but can’t translate theory into practice. Moreover, schools in the city can have a good infrastructure, but in some area students don’t have any good condition such as school, tables, seats, boards, and books, etc. they must learn in unsettled rooms, which were built by bamboo and straw grass. If it rain, the room will be wet and leaking. So these schools are not safe for students and teachers. The poor quality of education in the countryside can be perceived when one travels along rural roads and sees a few scattered primary schools, hidden among the mountains or in the woods. Children attend those schools only if it is not raining, and they travel long distances on horseback, or even on foot to reach the institution. Since the number of students is not enough to employ an English teacher, a Music teacher, a Sports teacher or a Computing teacher, those subjects are not taught, so children have no additional lessons. Finally, another factor that makes education reach very low quality standards is the fact that in many places there is no electricity, so it is imposible to imagine children from rural areas connected to the Internet, or having the possibility of watching a video or listening to music. To conclude, children from rural areas are not expected to develop their full potential due to the poor quality standard of education.…
