The artist I will be studying is Beyoncé Knowles known mostly as just Beyoncé. Beyoncé is an American singer, and songwriter and also actress she was born and raised in Texas. She turned 31 in September and gave birth to her first child Blue Ivy in January 2012.She started off in a girl band called Destiny’s child which got her most her fame. Beyoncé is known all around the world and has been represented n many media forms such as music videos magazines newspapers and on TV. She also is on a lot of social networking sites such an s twitter, Facebook and YouTube however they are not run by her personally.
She also starred in some movies, which has dramatically boosted her success. Beyoncé is featured in many magazines and they all her a different way of representing her so it therefore suits there target audience.
Beyoncé herself chooses to represent herself in many different ways according to what the target audience. She usually decides to look feminine and sexy in most of her music videos as to suit people who are watching she has a different style to all her videos therefore she attracts a bigger audience and this gets her a wider rage of listeners and viewers.
Beyoncé’s website is an international site which anyone can acsess, the website helps in many different ways manly for her fans and people who want to find out more about her and the latest news.
The site is bold and strong, the first link that is on the page is her tumblr, which she runs herself and puts her own pictures up, and other links include News, which includes the latest gossip about her. Another link is music, which includes general information about her latest music releases. Another Link is the ‘Beyhive’ this is a page where all her fans which are known as ‘beys’ can gather and find out the latest information and write about her. The hive includes messages from Beyoncé herself and quotes about the Beyoncé Fans.
