Modern heroes are admired by their good deeds and noble qualities. Beowulf is more of a modern hero because his character has a sense of courage, generosity, and loyalty. Modern hero’s all share these attributes through their actions. Throughout Beowulf’s quest he showcased his heroic nature far more than Dante did in Inferno.
