BENEFITS OF GREEN TEA

Green tea is one of the types of tea that is entirely made out of leaves. It is also very popular in ancient times and it was originated in Asia’s country, China. Nowadays, more and more people enjoy the tea across the world. According to recent research, people not only drinking green tea but they find it into many things like toiletries, ice-cream, food and many more. Why are there many people looking for it ?. This is because green tea has many benefits which make it a powerful support of your life.

Firstly, green tea is the best form of tea considered for usage and is extremely beneficial for your health. The great antioxidants in green tea are known as the active constituents (Ozadam,2005). They are called catechins and flavonols. EGCG or epigallocatechin gallate is the most powerful of these antioxidants. EGCG has been found to be twice as powerful as resveratrol, an antioxidant found in red wine. It has 25 to 100 times the antioxidants power of vitamin C and vitamin E. Green tea which is water soluble, has another advantage over vitamin E. If you drink too much green tea, it is simply excreted by your body. But if you consume too much vitamin E, it is retained in your body fats at harmful levels. With such a strong and powerful antioxidant as EGCG in green tea, you should know exactly what diseases and illnesses that it has been known to successfully treat.

Secondly, plenthora of antioxidants which can exposed the advantages of green tea extracts. They keep DNA intact and stabilize the membranes of cells. It means that it constantly monitors the health of each of the trillions cells in your body. Whenever a problem is detected, antioxidants in green tea will turn on the appropriate gene, which in turn, activates the cells that it needs to solve the problem.
