Ben and Maggie are two lovers who face difficulties trying to evade a man who wields the power to determine their status of life and death.As time circles back on itself, events become more deeply ingrained, more inescapable for the two kids trapped inside the loop. They both try their best to survive and live by not being caught by the man hunting them. Every time they are killed there is a less and less of a chance of survival but its not stopping these two lovers from ever seeing each other. On page 111 the quote said by Ben “I feel warm all over, but now my heart is racing”. My emotional reaction was like ohh I remember what made me feel like this. It was a saturday night my girlfriend came over and we kinda just cuddled the whole night, this made me feel really warm inside and out and my heart was beating a thousand miles an hour cause i was with the person I really wanted to be with. Honestly the greatest feeling i've had since i was adopted from the Ukraine. In the eighth chapter Ben says to Maggie “I enjoyed not getting murdered with you too”. This motif recurs over and over because bens and maggie's love and death happens over and over again throughout the story. This quote …show more content…
But i learned that sometimes you just have to pull the trigger to kill your demons so somehow allow you to sleep better at night knowing there is nothing to worry about. This is important because it shows the difference of becoming what some people want you to be and to being your own person independent through law and all. This book taught me a lesson because my life is at a loop every day and it doesn't change unless i am the one who changes it and gives it
