Introduction
Bellisimma is an online business which currently selling shoes and willing to sell more products to increase the market share. Students who are taking MGT304, Strategic International Business Management at this semester are required to form few groups to help the company reach its goals. Different tasks have been given. We have to liaising with manufacturers to get the cheapest yet quality products and also building a website. Products that Bellisimma is looking for to introduce to customers include handbags, belts, house decor and hijab.

It is defined as using the same brand name to enter into a totally unrelated product category. Bellisimma decided to use this strategy by introducing products from different categories like hijab, house decors and belts. This marketing strategy enables the company to take advantage of opportunities in different market sectors. Company is able to sell more products to current customers and attract new customers.
Brand extension can be an effective strategy because it helps to strength the brand and also increase customer loyalty. Products could be introduced more quickly with less marketing cost as consumers already know and trust the brand. Bellisimma undertakes this strategy because the owners believe that their brand image is powerful enough to get customers to try the new product in a completely different category.

At the end of the first class, Ms Sumathi defined the group tasks and then randomly assigned them to different groups. Our group is in charge of building an online store. Besides, it is a pure drag and drop website builder that users get more creative freedom in terms of where they want to insert the content. Compared to Shopify and BigCommerce, Wix is a less advanced ecommerce software. It is best suited for users who want simpler store configurations, not planning on selling a lot of products (such as 20 or more) and have less sophisticated requirements like integrate accounting and marketing.
Choosing the right ecommerce online shop builder is tough. After discussion, we decided to choose BigCommerce. The reason is we do really love the themes that the builder provides as they look very clean and professional. Having a nice storefront encourages people to stay and look around for the products and is important for branding. Besides, BigCommerce has a bit more tools available in its basic package compared to the other builders. We think that it is better to start off with the standard plan first which require to pay $29.95 per
