Being A Veterinarian Essay

My Purpose “My command is this; love each other as I have loved you” John 15:12. The quote above is stating that we are here to love each other. I take that to the next extent. I see it as a statement of love all things. I believe everyone has a purpose for being here today. We all have that passion or iinterest or quirky inspiration that gets us going every day. The goal that gets us out of bed 2 hours after we went to sleep to repeat the same old school or work day. The thing that we hope someone will ask about so you can just tell them your elaborate plan. So they can see the glow in your eyes when you speak about it. That for me is to become a veterinarian. Being a veterinarian is not goal for me it is something that has been set in place for me, my purpose if you may. As an animal lover I have dedicated every step along the way to getting as much hands on learning experience with animals as possible. I have brought home strays bathed and fed them and found them homes. I have worked at 3 different pet resorts learning about allergies and overheating and seizures and plenty of the issues some animals must deal with every day. I have owned a hog and learned about livestock and viruses and how to give vaccines and
Such as putting animals down, Surgery’s, having to think about the best interest of the animals. Most of all Vet school, the one school that’s harder to get into than medical school. The course work will be intense but that intensity and my will to succeed will only push me to succeed. Helping animals comes naturally to me my instinct is to protect them over myself. To make sure they are in a loving home and helped to the highest extent. When I help an animal I get a feeling of relief not for myself but for the animal. I begin to think that now this animal will be safe. He will feel the love no one has stopped to give
