How to Become a Graceful Point Guard Swish, Russell Westbrook made another 3 pointer off the fast break. He is a great point guard and is good at driving the ball in. If a player wants to get better and be as good as him I have a few steps that will help. The steps include: getting a basketball, wearing comfortable attire, staying hydrated, and have a basketball goal or court to play on. These steps can really help if a player does them right. A player getting a basketball is an important step to being a great point guard. For example, if a player does not have a basketball, he or she will not have way to play. This shows that players need a basketball to play and practice. Without a basketball players will not be able to play or practice. The basketball must also be full of air and be able to bounce. For example, if the ball does not have air the ball cannot be dribbled or shot. If a ball is not air up enough it will not be able to bounce like it should. …show more content…
For example, it would be more comfortable to wear shorts and a tee shirt. Wearing pants to play basketball is not a good way of playing. For example, wearing pants will get you hot quickly and there will not be enough room to move around. Shorts will give a player’s legs room to move and keep them from getting too hot. Also, it’s good to wear basketball shoes including: Nike and Jordan’s. These shoes are the best choice to wear on a basketball court. The shoes must also be in good condition to be able to play in them. For instance, some shoes will be old and out wore and because of that, they cannot be
